Our Vision (updated 21 March 2009) The Save Dreamland Campaign originally launched new proposals for a heritage amusement park at Dreamland on 30 April 2007 (click here for the news item). Following a series of meetings meetings with Thanet District Council and the Margate Renewal Partnership (MRP) between January and April 2007, the Dreamland Trust developed the concept of a Heritage Amusement Park for Dreamland, based around the listed Scenic Railway. Read our Vision Document to find out more about our plans to recreate a spectacular amusement park of the type that has now all but disappeared from the British seaside. Step back to a time when rides were bigger and seaside amusement parks were a truly thrilling day out. For much more information on this project, read the documents submitted to the DCMS for the successful Sea Change grant application. Click here for the May 2007 press release.
