Many

Years ago (when Vikingar was still
known as the Water Chute) I was watching the ride. In fact I was on my way to ride it when I noticed a well dressed
oriental gentleman with a very expensive looking camera standing next to the ride.
Thinking to myself, "He doesn't know he's gonna get a bit wet
there", the good Samaritan in me took over and I
approached him and stood in a very large puddle.
I hoped this would help him realise where
all the water could be coming from on such a clear day.
He was intent on watching the ride through
the view finder of his camera and the ride was just rounding the top of the hill heading rapidly for the drop.
At this point my self preservation pounded
the Samaritan over the head and I stopped my advance. Someone else however was not of such a faint heart.
She advance to his side (I think that she
knew him or was with him at the time) just as the ride began its drop and tapped him on the shoulder.
At this point the gent jumped out of his
skin, dropped the camera to the floor with a sickening crunch looked angrily at the girl and was obviously about to shout
something as the ride completed its decent and soaked them both!
