Well according to the leaflets and park maps this ride was called the Mini Scooters.
However, a sign around the top of this ride (which was situated opposite The Avalanche shop) said Alpine Rallye (sic).
What's more a board at the back of the ride stated UFO Scooters!
Oh, and the cars had Orbiter (or something) written on them.
It's basically another dodgem-type ride but with circular cars that add to the fun.
What was even more confusing was that the official website
in 2003 appeared to be describing the coin operated cars in Beaver Creek that had a similar name and were also coin operated...but the cars weren't circular...and they were for kids only.
I can't help thinking there has been some sort of mistake somewhere here but I will stand corrected. Besides I'm confused!
24/8/03 and the Alpine Rallye sign has disappeared!
6/3/04 and I am led to believe that this ride is now situated by Eddie Stobart's Convoy.
As at June 2004 this ride has been renamed Bradley's Orbiters but are still referred to on all maps as Mini Scooters.
NO WRISTBANDS ACCEPTED
