The Deakin family became a byword
amongst Welsh showmen and public alike for their famous rides and
their catering. They were noted for their reputation of giving
benefit nights to help the sick, the old and the needy. After the
Second World War, the family bought a number of new rides and
established a reputation for innovation.
The book is a collection of records,
recollections and memories of the firm A. Deakin & Sons, illustrated
