Rare souvenir guide book of Alton
Towers from the 1960s. The first half of the book covers the house
and gardens. The second half of the book covers the leisure park,
which was clearly a major attraction even then. The guide book
covers: the Amusement Park, Aerial Cable Cars,
Model Railway, Catering and Gift Shop. Packed with fascinating large
black and white photographs of the rides, railway, donkey rides,
paddling pool, cable cars, model railway, motor boats and Talbot
Restaurant, amongst many others.
