Bertram Mills's circus set new standards - at London's Olympia from
1920 and on tour from 1930 - and was continued in an essentially
unchanged format until 1967 by h is sons, Cyril and Bernard. This
book charts the rise of the Mills enterprise.
This book is from the Ken Wise circus collection and includes three
letters from the author. The first, dated March 1996, informs Mr
Wise that research on the book has started and requests memories and
photographs. The second thanks Mr Wise for the photographs and
material and updates him on progress. The third encloses the free
copy and thanks Mr Wise for his help. Ken Wise is acknowledged in
