Mine is a love affair with the Big
Apple Circus lasting more than most.
The Big Apple Circus is unique to
American circuses. It follows European tradition of a family circus
that performs in the wonderfully intimate single ring. One lives
with the high-wire daredevils, one rides with the lovely
equestriennes, and can almost reach out and pet those adorable
canines. And the clowns! They dance along the rim of the ring and
pat the heads of the enthralled children.
