One of the rarest books we have come across,
the following is taken from the back cover:
"During a visit to Primrose Valley near
Filey in 1987, author Paul Wray noticed the empty camp of Butlin's
next door. Happy memories of family holidays spent there came
flooding back, and on learning that the camp was to be demolished he
set about making a photographic record of the buildings, and
collecting information and memorabilia, much of which appears in
this book. Paul's own photographs are supplemented by the official
camp photographs of the John Hinde Studios in Dublin, which are
reproduced here in colour, and which it is hoped will evoke in
readers memories of happier times."
Condition:
Fine. Very little evidence of it having been read. |
