Walter Dumaux
Edmonds (1903-98), was an American writer best
known for historical novels, including the best
seller 'Drums Along the Potomac'. 'Chad Hanna'
tells the story of a New York country boy in the
1840s, working along the canal in Canastota, New
York, when he joins a travelling Huguenine
circus. It was made into a film starring Henry
Fonda and Linda Darnell.
