Walter Dumaux Edmonds (1903-98), was an American writer best known for historical novels, including the best seller 'Drums Along the Potomac'. 'Chad Hanna' tells the story of a New York country boy in the 1840s, working along the canal in Canastota, New York, when he joins a travelling Huguenine circus. It was made into a film starring Henry Fonda and Linda Darnell.

Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Fair for year, hardcover. Generally clean, bright and tight. Marks and age tanning but otherwise in fair condition. Some darkening to cover, spine faded.
