(NFA) have collected, conserved and catalogued many thousands of
records and photographic images, to try and capture this story for
future generations. The records in the collection take many forms,
but ultimately the NFA is about people, the showpeople who present
the attractions and the local people for whom the fair played an
important part in their region's history. The collections described
to you in the booklet are just a few aspects of the full range of
historical and educational material to be found within the NFA. We
