An American perspective of Britain's
amusement parks. This US-produced documentary visits nine of Britain's most famous
amusement parks: Dreamland, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, Joyland, Gulliver's World,
Alton Towers, Oakwood, Frontierland, Pleasureland and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
The film takes the viewer on a tour around these parks, providing
information on the rides, and including on-ride footage of many of Britain's most amazing
amusement park rides. Hop on board modern steel coasters such as Nemesis and the Pepsi Max
Big One. Ride no less than nine wooden coasters. Enter some of the most fantastic dark
rides ever built. Have a wonder around the much-missed Frontierland Western Theme Park at
Morecambe, and jump on board several of its rides. Ride Margate's
Scenic Railway, the oldest roller coaster in the United Kingdom.
