Fred C Gollmar is now the sole
survivor of those who started the Gollmar Brothers Circus. His son,
Robert H Gollmar, has written a colourful account of circus life and
its problems. The material in the book is based on the father's
vivid recollections, on hitherto unpublished family records, on
anecdotes by Ken Maynard, Ernest Landers and other former employees,
and on the author's own experiences as a boy on the circus.
