Jerome Medrano Sr., known to the
public as BOUM-BOUM, created the Medrano circus in Paris in 1897.
His son, Jérome Jr., took over in 1928 and ran it for 35 years.
BOUM-BOUM had created a very Parisian circus, his son gave it
international status. He never gave an interview to those who wanted
to write his biography. He finally tells the fascinating story of
his life. We witness in turn the creation of a circus, the blazing
succession of shows during which the biggest stars, the Fratellini,
Grock, Rastelli, Colleano, Antonet, Bedy, Alex, Pipo, Rum, Porto,
the Bario, Zavatta, Fernand Raynaud, Keaton Buster, Gilbert Houcke,
Vjtech Trubka, the Peters Sisters and how many more, have come to
seduce the French public.
