Difficult to photograph because difficult to
find! The Go Karts are tucked away behind the Steeplechase and set amid
the Big Dipper and Pepsi Max Big One.
The Go Karts used to be situated in the area now occupied by the Ocean Boulevard car park at the rear entrance to the Bowl-A-Drome.
This attraction cost £250,000 to install in the mid 1990s and consists of a 600m track. In all there are 18 Go-Karts (9 single seated and 9 double seated).
A particular striking safety feature are the karts' brakes; if required they can be remote controlled by the ride operators!
August 2003 and I'm unsure for how long this ride will stay at 3 tickets a ride. It was 5 tickets a ride until recently.
