Alas, no more (in its original
state anyway), the Haunted Swing's waiting room which had an atmosphere all of its own was, in 2002,
incorporated in some form or other into Impossible (an amalgamation of
the Haunted Swing and 1001
Troubles attractions).
For those people who were
riding the Swing for the first time, the anticipation of what was to come was heightened whilst waiting in this small seated area.
Whilst the cartoon on the wall (still
visible as part of Impossible) provided a little light relief, the sign
"Please Wait Until Called" added to the tension.
