Four comedies filmed on the West Coast
of the USA, mainly at Venice Beach, in the 1920s.
The first, 'Beauty and The Bump',
features some absolutely stunning stunts as the hero battles the
villain on the rides, including the Circle Swing. The title comes
from the heroine refusing to marry our hero unless he has some bumps
on his head to prove himself a worthwhile hubby
'The Sheik Of Hollywood' features John Miller's first West Coast
racing coaster, Racing Thru The Clouds, in a comedy of mistaken
identity.
Next its Our Gang in 'Tire Trouble'
where many of the attractions, including the fun house and roller
coaster, are put to the test.
Last but not least its Our Gang again in 'Boys Will Be Joys' as they
build their own amusement park, complete with a ferris wheel,
merry-go-round, shoot the chutes and other attractions.
