The Bluebell Railway's Steam Fair
takes lace during July and complements the locomotives and period
scenery of this famous preserved line.
The Harris Brothers' 'Old Tyme' Steam
Fair, which was located behind the station, was entirely driven by
magnificent Showmen's engines including Burrells, Fowlers and the
McLaren 'Banshee'.
In addition to the traditional
rides there were vintage vehicles and numerous colourful side-shows
along with John Morley's fine collection of vintage slot machines.
Steam railway, steam fairgrounds
and steam traction engines - Bluebell Steam is an absorbing record
of a unique event and will delight all nostalgia fans.
