This video features
the 2001 Nottingham Goose Fair, one of Britain's most famous fairs, in full swing. All the
atmosphere of this premier back end event is captured. The Goose Fair always features the
best rides travelling the country. This year was no exception with possibly the widest
range of attractions ever to be assembled.
Raymond Codona's Wave Swinger, Willie Wilson's Booster, Henry Evans' Move
It and the Giant Wheel of Vallentgoed Kermis Amusement were amongst the first time
visitors.
Some of the favourites returning
once more were Elliot Hall's ever spectacular Top Buzz, James Mellor's Big Ben and Crazy
Shake and James Noyce's Gallopers. Also featured are some of the immaculate juvenile rides
that occupy one corner of the Forest Recreation Ground.
The DVD/Video features a hi-fi
stereo soundtrack with no commentary.
