THE THINGS WE DID LAST SUMMER is a
summer full of fun from the 1970s. Amusement parks and sometimes
tacky roadside attractions.
We're off to a good start as we Escape To Pleasure Island, near
Boston Then it's off to Busch Gardens at Williamsburg, Virginia to
ride on their brand new rollercoaster, the Loch Ness Monster.
Naturally you visit their many other worlds and attractions and have
a bang up day.
On our journey west we come across Fort Osage Family Fun Park in
Arkansas. It is one of those out of the way places you hear about.
Now you get to experience it first hand!
Another roadside attraction, Old MacDonald's Farm in Orange County,
CA. Here we find a bounty of trained animals, a chicken that plays
the piano, a goat that butts a butt. And more animal fun.
Next stop Disneyland, a great travelogue made for the Spanish
speaking market. Well anyway the pictures are good and we all know
'It's A Small World'. On our way back home you get to stop at Six
Flags Over Mid-America to top off your vacation and you do have a
good day.
